The 2017 Central Oregon real estate year end numbers from Beacon Appraisal and Duke Warner Market Trends Report are in for Bend and Redmond.
The Bend median price rebounded slightly from Novembers $390,000 drop back to $395,000. The number of closed sales decreased to 189, these are purchases generally that started in October/November. The bulk of listings and sales in Bend remain based between $225,000 - $525,000.
If trends hold true the market numbers for next months sold properties will show a larger decrease in the sales as the holiday effect kicks in. With the holidays being over activity is slowly returning to normal for this time of the year and will continue to climb as we move towards the warmer months and longer days.
If you are thinking of selling now is a good time to jump in as inventory is low and buyer's are out there looking for there next home.
